coolant smoke coming drom air cleaner?

Okay, here's the deal. I have coolant smoke coming from my air cleaner. This only happens when I use my heater, though. This didn't start until I put anti-freeze in the overflow bottle. I am at a total loss. Any help would be sweet.

Hi and welcome. How do you know its coolant smoke? Im not sure where exactly the smoke is comming from. Behind the air cleaner are where the coolant hoses go thru the firewall for the heater, maybe leaking there?

I know it is coolant due to the sweet smell of the smoke. This issue only started after I put coolant in the reservoir bottle. At this point it appears that the smoke may be coming up through the heat riser hose that connects to the underside of the snorkel on the air cleaner.

Does the carb use the coolant or at least the heat from it for the air fuel mixture??
