Coolant seals
OOOOk, Its decision time. The engine only has 108K miles on it and has apparently blown coolant seals internally because there was antifreeze in the chambers when I pulled the exhaust manifold. I got the engine after it had sat for 10 years so I dont know how bad the leak is. I heard from someone that this is a common problem and that more than likely it will start again. I am trying to make a reliable daily driver adn I was wondering if I should actually tear it apart now or just get it running and see how bad it really is. Any suggestions?

After sitting for 10 years, all of the seals would likely need to be replaced. If you want a reliable daily driver, I would suggest pulling the engine and doing a full teardown, replacing anything made of rubber. A full rebuild will let you be fairly certain the engine will last for a long time.

I agree! from personal experience things tend to run real good after sitting a long time if kept in good care while in a few short time of use you will start noticing EVERYTHING leak on you...You should tear it apart and rebuild it while you have the chance.
