Been looking at a nice 84 RX-GSL. Nice body but the guy says they have to replace the front converter. I asked him if the air supply was still hooked up to the other converter and he said it has been welded shut for sometime now. Is this going to cause me a problem down the road and could it(the rear converter) caused the front one to plug up

 

Yes it will cause a problem, the fresh ait supply going to the cat is to complete the burn better. It will render the catalyst useless after sometime..
