You GO guys,, right on !! DF you'll see what i mean when you have the front end in your hands, and have to trim it.. the silver mariah up top, with the side 'skirt' or gunnell or whatever it's called ,,thats the ONE,,the non-SA one, it's perfect !! i love that tint of silver too. Andersons car, it wraps around the rear too,,anyway,,
lots of money guys. good call mike. see ya'll around the board.

Mike,
I know you already ordered your kit, but did you (or anyone else for that matter) ever consider running one of the race kits on the street. The only problem I think would be the overhang in the front... check it:

Yeah he told me, that I can have the air damn cusotmized anywyas I see fit for ground clearance... I had the Imsa air damn on at one time, and NOTHING is worse than it

I drug everything, but it hangs out towards the front quite a bit more than the mariah does

My motivation is $$$.
I don't rake it in like I used to (Mortgage Business).

I still have the entire Mariah kit, ready to install. But as you know, that's only a fraction of the price.
Between fitment, paint, and really wide , custom, modern wheels - I am looking at close to 10 Grand.

I will install it, eventually.

I recently purchased a kit very similar to this one below, along with a FG TII hood.

I can have it installed and painted for probably under 2 grand - and I won't have to get new wheels. I will probably enjoy the car like this for a few years,
until I am ready for the wide-body. My car needs a paint job desperately. As it is, I need a couple of body pieces. (nose piece and wiper cowl)

Yeah... going wide is definitely not cheap... but man is it worth it. I'm actually wheel shopping right now. But I've still got the GSL bolt pattern so it hasn't been fun. Thinking I'm going to do a chaep set with adapters for now, then later on, I'll pony up the cash for a set of Work Equip 02's..... mmmmm.

The guy that repainted my car up here in orlando does awesome fibrglass work, and his prices are reasonable I could get his number for you if you're interested.

Thanks for the offer, but 1

1) I can't afford it right now
2) If I were to get it painted, it would be somewhere I can keep an eye on it during the process.
......(I have personally seen too many horror stories about painters/mechanics lately)
3) I can't afford it right now

well, i've been working on these for the past month and half with my body man , we made the molds from scratch and so far its looking real good ,they are made out of fiberglass and the nice thing is that you should be able to trim them for less wheel i you were to use a smaller wheel/tire combo.
i'll keep you guys posted

i may have looked over it...but do they sell a convertible kit? I see a picture there of one, but no kit. I'm totally going to find a shell in good condition and get to work. That's just plain sexy.

no they don't. I am ordering the mode 1 but shaving off the bump thingies on the front bumper to look better. I may actually remove that whole section to expose the stock bumper and see how I can make it llok good.

If you look at my pics... that's exactly what I did.... the moldings have been stripped... just be sure to re-enforce the area behind the moldings before sanding them down, as it get's very thin quickly. I'm actually going to be re-doing my bumper as part of the turbo install, since I'm going to need to trim it to fit my intercooler in the front. Thinking of shaving the fog light holes and running smaller round holes for a more modern look, either that or turning the foglight holes into brake cooling ducts and lining them with stainless. I'm still a long ways away from any fiberglass work though.

I have a REALLLYY Good Idea for that. I even bought the pieces.
I don't know if I should share it though...

I kinda wanted to save it for when I go wide-body...

We're even both in the same state...

Hmmm....

Convince me..
