Yes you can run the streetport system with stockport, its not a bad idea. I bought the stockport setup and kind of regret it, but at the same time its just another reason to upgrade to a TII motor. Haha, its a little bit more expensive but it will be worth it for you in the long run as long as you know that you are going to rebuild and port your motor in the future.

Oh sorry I can help to answer that as well, you have some options... A weber is a good carb, takes some tuning to get it just so but makes lots of power (have choice between sidedraft or downdraft), or you could go with a holley setup (im not too familiar with holley setups), or for good streetability you may want to get a mikuni or dellorto carb. All carbs have there ups and downs, the 2 barrels can be thrown open quickily giving alot of throttle response but the 4 barrel won't use as much gas until you open up the secondaries (if im wrong about this anyone please correct me).

For streetability many people say the mikuni is great, but at the same time they say its best for a stock port application. One thing you seriously need to consider since you live in Canada is whether or not you seriously want to drive your car in the winter. If you do, you basically require a carb with a choke, this limits your options down a bit... In all honesty, your best bet may be a modified stock carb: Paul yaw or Sterling, don't have to change intake manifolds and you get a nicely setup carb and technical support from the pros.

I've got a full RB Streetport system for sale, if you want it... only has like 3000 miles on it (950 of which are from a one-way trp from Chicago to New Orleans)...650 plus shipping.

It worked BEAUTIFULLY on a stockport12A.... car had 89rwhp before it, and 117 after... definitely worth it.

I think you misread what he said, he is selling the streetport system, the car made substantially more hp then the stock setup and will add even more when you streetport it. One step at a time though, worry about your exhaust before tackling your carb and fuel system.
