75 is rebuild territory. Just because someone claimed that it was a Mazda Reman doesn't make it so.

I bought an engine that had "3rd gen corner springs, new rotor, etc" that had none of the above and chucked an apex seal after 5K miles.

Caveat Empor!

I'm finally doing things right with a new-part (at least all new critical parts inc. rotor housings, apex seals, bearings) SP rebuild. Pics will be posted when it's together and in - especially because I stripped the engine bay and am recoating the body.

Don't give up on your car. Tear down the engine (soft seal/gasket kit required) and find out what it really needs.

60s are typically considered rebuild territory. 70s mean it's coming.
