Compression check
I have seen a lot of things about doing a compression check on a 12A. What is the proper procedure and how can we analyze the results to make a dertermination of engine seal condition?

Get a standard comp. checker and remove the bleed valve.
What your looking for is even bounces of the needle
If you have a bad apex seal it will be 1 big bounce followed by 2 smaller bounces repeat......
Take a sharpy/marker and put a mark on the guage face to see if the bounce are consistant from front to rear.
If you want true numbers you'll have to go to a dealer most of wich dont carry this checker anymore or pony up a few grand for your own.
Good luck, Chris.
