I'm installing my haltech today and had the wire harness out of the car for about a year now so I don't know which wire on the car's harness is for the tach signal. If someone would take a look at their trailing coil and tell me color the wire is it would be great! Should be either a yellow/blue wire or a yellow/green wire.

ahh hell.. I just read a message from mike-p-28 and he thinks it's the yellow/blue wire.

What manual are you reading? Haynes? what page if so?

 

looking at page 184 in the haynes manual it looks to be a yellow/grn wire, shows how much Mike knows

 

I'm using PDFs I saved from sites. I think it came from http://iluvmyrx7.com/. So it would be the Mazda manual.

I wouldn't jerk you around though. I'm in section C page 18 and I still see 'YG from ignition coil'.

What page is Mike on?

Yeah I finally got off my lazy ***, 3 days later, but it is yellow/grn (1 pin blue molex that goes to the negative side of the trailing coil)


Pretty good guess tho, considering it was last July when I put it on
