cold start problems

My 1984 RX7 has no problems starting when warm but arter its stood overnight it just wont start unless its a push start. Whats the likely cause of this frustrating problem?

well latest update is that it wasn,t flooded although fuel was getting pumped through, it was entering the carb, a drop of juice down the carb and it fired up - guess the carb needs some attention

Now your on the right track! A lot of folks with their first 7's usually inherit probs. (why would anyone want to get rid of one). So a carb rebuild is ususally a given when getting one. Sometimes you luck out. But its always fun learning.
