"cocked" exhaust

is it possible to have the "cocked" exhaust like most 3rd gen owners and drifters use? or would it scrape the ground? u know the ones that are instead of straight out they are pointed outward and kinda up, but still come out the back of the car. pics would be nice...

A good exhaust shop can make you anything. Got pics to describe what you're talking about?

A decent exhaust shop should have no trouble doing this. And there's nothing wrong with it, as long as you like it.

It is a Japanese tuning trend. And it was long before riced up Hondas decided to copy the idea.

i think i actually remember reading on the Apexi site that the angle somehow makes the airflow PULL exhaust from the tip?

If you need to angle the exhaust tip to pull exhaust gas out, you don't have the pedal down far enough.

There is low pressure air in that area, but I would be suprized if the difference between the "cocked" air pressure and the regular, back of the car air pressure would make up for the increase in back pressure caused by the extra bend in the exhaust.

Sounds like a "cocked" idea whomever thought it up, if you ask me.

rxseven07- Dont listen to all the negative comments.Do what you like best. Just make sure the shop does it right.

The reason for the angled exhuast is for better airflow.Just dont have the shop make the exhuast like regular and just make a bend at the end.Make sure they do a good job and make it smooth flowing.
