Clutch Recommendations solicited

What do the pundits think would be a good clutch for a stock 12a? Is the stock "good enough" or can I find something that would be a noticeable improvement even with low power. Herb

At a big risk of showing my ignorance, what is the dif between a stock, Stage 1, Stage 2 and Stage 3 clutch kit?

Here is some information from the Mazdatrix website that may be helpful:

Flywheel and Clutch Explanations

To answer your question, on a stock car in normal use then imho the stock clutch will do fine, its when you increase power with alot of mods or start doing silly things like burn outs, drifting, etc that you generally start seeing failures.

If it aint broke dont fix it.

I've always liked Exedy clutches, just the stock/street clutch works very well.
