clutch problems....

since my engine swap, my clutch disengages really hight on the pedal. i used the tranny from my new gls-se, and now its acting weird. my dads already bled the clutch twice, do you know what it could be? i hope im not in toi a trasmission job...

It's probably the arm that the slave cylinder rod pushes, there r differences in them. Use the one from the other tranny.

get a new clutch?
till then go easy on it or you will be stranded.



on a slightly similiar note i went to school with a V-6 5 speed camaro that he drove to death. the clutch was so bad thathe didnt have to use it, he could shift without pushing it in he could stop like that too, man was he an idiot....

the guy i bought the car i took the egine and tranny out of said the clutch was new...im thinking he lied.

Start by replacing the flexihose that goes from the clutch master to slave. Only $15 and 15 minutes. Damn thing can leak without leaving traces, apparently.
