1st Gen RX-7 in the Matrix Reloaded
I was able to get a bootleg DVD of the Matix Reloaded. Basically it was some guy in the back of the theatre filming the movie. The quality of the movie was okay, so I watched it. You can pick it up a http://www.dvdmoviebox.com
During the large car chase scene, there are 100's of GM cars. Every car you will notice is a GM car. With the exception of one 1st Gen RX-7. They show it twice. COming toward the camera and going away. It is right after Morpheus kicks the crap out of the guy on top of the truck.
I think it is a little odd that they would have this in the film.

I was more concerned about the poor '68 Firebird that got trashed for the chase scene...sure hope it was CGA, but I don't think it was......if it was real and died, I hope it was at least stuffed full of SBC...

Yeah I was reading about a company that supplies the cars for the majority of the movies... any time you see a car in the movies it is generally a complete POS that has been prettied up. Doesn't take much to make it look good in front of a camera.
I'd have to see Matrix Reloaded... but AFAIK they were contracted by GM to *only* have GM cars/trucks in the movie... and the highway chase scene was not done on public roads, they made a loop of highway out in the middle of nowhere specifically for shooting the movie. (it was destroyed after production was over)
