Clutch kit recommendation for a '79 SA 5 speed?

Hi guys - seeing that the transmission needs to come out to put a non-knackered box in now would be the time to the clutch. Is there any specific clutch kit that you recommend?

Thanks for the info.

You don't need a street strip or heavy duty clutch do you? Way too many people get clutches that are stronger than the application calls for. As such, an OEM type stock duty replacement 215mm kit that fits 79-82 will work fine. Look for the Exedy brand as they are the best.

Be sure to get a new pilot seal and only grease the existing pilot bearing. Too many people damage or ruin eccentric shafts and trans input shafts when they forget the pilot seal or attempt to remove the pilot bearing without the correct Mazda puller.

Mazdatrix sells this stuff.

I have a Centerforce Stage II clutch kit in my SA. Been working well for years now. Has seen
heavy use/abuse as well with no slippage. Still has easy action but really seems to bite good.
Some folks think these clutches are gimmicks but it seems to work well for me.

I tried a 215mm centerforce pressure plate on a stock disc with the turbo and it was great.
