clutch issues

clutch issues

hey all im having issues with my clutch i went to put it in and its not tight between the pressure plate and the flywheel/flexplate for some reason. the clutch is a 4 puck clutch with a just turned flywheel. what gives i tightened the bolts in the proper sequence. any ideas the cars a 84 think the motor is a 82 is it the same clutch kit? can the flywheel be turned to much ? its only been turned once thanks in advance

The 83-85 is a 225mm clutch kit and the 79-82 is a 215mm clutch kit, so no the 82 and the 84 use different clutch kits.

Not sure if that is what your problem is.
