a/c trouble
I charged my a/c about a month ago with r134A. Last Saturday I noticed a clear fluid on the ground on the passanger side of the vehicle. Since then, I noticed my a/c wasn't as cold as when I first charged the system. i pointed out to my mazda specialist where the leak was coming from. He then checked for leaks using the u/v light. He didn't see any leaks but noticed on one of the end pieces of the hose, once applied soap that the area was bubbling . Not to bad at all. This is where the hoses connect to the compressor. The clear fluid was not coming out from this side of the car but the opposite side. He then noticed the shut valve was wet. He said it could be this valve and the hose. I would like a second opinion. Is there any a/c specialist in the Los Angeles,CA area that anyone knows about? I know all a/c systems are, for the most part, the same. Can I still get parts for the a/c sytem. HELP

A/c Problems
THE CLEAR FLUID YOU SEE ON THE PASSENGER SIDE IS CONDENSATION FROM THE
EVAPORATOR CORE IN THE VEHICLE, THIS IS NORMAL. tHERE IS A DRAIN HOSE
THAT EXITS ON THE PASSENGER SIDE FRONT FOR THIS. AS FAR AS YOUR LEAK GOES
R134A IS VERY TOUGH TO FIND LEAKS. bUBBLING AT A HOSE MEANS LEAKAGE. NEEDS TO BE RESEALED, O'RING. AS FAR AS PARTS GO, THEY ARE READILY AVAILABLE. aLOT OF THE EARLY COMPRESSOR WILL STAND UP TO THE HIGHER PRESSURES OF R134A AND WILL START LEAKING. tHATS ALL YOU CAN DO IS INSPECT ALL AREAS, HOSES, IN FRONT OF THE A/C CONDENSER, AT THE RECEIVER DRIER AND MAKE SURE THEY USE A SNIFFER INSIDE THE VEHICLE FOR THE EVAPORATOR CORE. WHATEVER YOU DO , DON'T USE ANY TYPE OF SEALANT, THATS
ALL IT DOES IS MESS WITH THE COMPLETE SYSTEM RX7DOCTOR

Thanks for the info. I know there is a drain hose on the passanger side of the vehicle. When this fluid (water) dries, it doesn't leave a stain on the concrete, right. This fluid left a stain. Sinse this day, my cold air as diminished and now I have no cold air.I was told that the stop valve on this side of the car ( has 2 wires on the sensor) should be dry not wet. My valve(sensor) was dam or wet. Do they still sell parts for the a/c such as hoses etc....

Take caps lock off, Doc
Try going to, um, www.victoriabritish.com and ordering a catalogue. They have damn near every part in there.
Junkyards.
Ebay.
If you go official, or VB, or any well known place, you're paying LOTS of moolah.
