Clutch issue, searched and found partial answers.
So I am having issues with my clutch lately. It was fine up until last week, I drove it down to my firehall which is about 2-3 minutes away and it was fine, when I went to go home though the clutch would barely engage/disengage. Really light pedal and clutch would engage right at the floor, but it was driveable. The next day I checked the fluid and the reserve was empty, so I added some to it and figured I'd just bleed it on a day off. I bled the clutch and it got worse, pedal sticks to the floor now and doesn't come off, absolutely no pressure at all. Cannot build pressure either by pumping. I have a vacuum bleeder (hand operated) which I have been using. I can bleed the pressure out of the nipple on the slave till the cows come home and the fluid level does not change in the reserve and I continuously get air bubbles and lots of them. I spent about 45 minutes to an hour so far trying to bleed it and still getting tons of air bubbles and pedal still sticks to the floor. Any ideas or is it time for a new Master Cylinder? No fluid leaked inside the car from the master which I read could be a symptom of having a pooched unit.

i'm currently having the same exact problem....i can shift my car into reverse but it wont go into any other gear and the clutch sticks to the floor....i was told by trochoid
"With the clutch pedal not returning, replace the slave, master and rubber line."
i'm still deciding if i need the rebuild kit or if i should replace the whole thing.....
this problem should have nothing to do with the actual clutch itself (clutch disc and pressure plate) right?
