Clutch Install - Loose clutch?

I finally put the new clutch and pressure plate on. However, upon tightening the bolts on the pressure plate, the clutch is loose within the chamber. It moves about an 1/8th of an inch in any direction even with an E-shaft positioning tool in place. Is this normal? I don't want to put the tranny back on and have this not work. It was tight when I took the clutch out, what am I doing wrong?

It is not normal. The plate should be compressed between the flywheel and pressure plae while in the position you describe.
I have no idea what is wrong though.

Tazzman is trying to figure out where on the FlyWheel does the 2 Ressesed Bolts need to be installed so that the Presure Plate will lined up correctly.
That will take care of the Space.
