Clutch Choice

My 82 rx is modded up pretty well now but experiencing clutch slippage around 6k rpm. Anyone got a good clutch combo recommendation. Most of the time is street driving and stock not cutting it. Also want to do some road racing....

I like the RB Street & Strip setup with the lightweight steel flywheel. Seems reasonably durable (I've had two of them -- on a FB tranny and now on an FC T2 tranny) and gives a nice boost in throttle response due to the lower inertia.

Don't like Centerforce. The idea of hanging weights of the clutch diaphragm springs that create more clamp load as RPMs increase was developed for muscle cars with high torque engines to keep clutch pedal pressure in check. Pedal pressure isn't an issue with rotary engines (since they don't have much torque), so I'd avoid the potential failures caused by extra parts.

I'm having that problem kind of, like in 5th gear just cruising at 60 or so if I floor it the rpms race and drop then the car speeds up.

Light fly wheel and a center force #2.
I had bought my car 4 years ago with a Center force and it finally went out about a week ago. I put another one in the car. There are a few good ones but I like how Center force has treated me. As I at times have not treated it nicely.
