clutch

This is my first post on the first gen forum. Im usually on the 2nd gen. Anyway there is a first gen I want to buy, but it needs a new clutch. How much does a stock clutch usually go for installed? I dont need anything aftermarket im just planning on keeping the car until I can find a turbo II.

The last stock clutch I bought ran me like $250-$300 with all new bearings and the alignment tool from a local auto parts store (they even had it in stock!!). I installed in myself in a matter of hours. Now I have a Centerforce clutch in that same car

you can buy a clutch kit for about $120 USD (clutch, bearings, etc) Labour is extra, but you could always do it yourself...

Haha, I just checked my reciept (I save them all ). It was $167.14 after tax...I guess my guess was a little off, lol. Anyway, there ya go. That was from B&B Auto Parts by the way. I dont know if they are anywhere else other than Washington though...

Edit: That came with the clutch disc, pressure plate, through-out bearing, pilot bearing, alignment tool, and grease for the tranny splines .

I bought a clutch at Oreileys for $100, presure plate, TO bearing, the works. LIFETIME warrenty!!!!

I would figure double the parts price and add $200-$400 for labor, if someone else is doing it.
