Question clicking brakes

just got my first car, a beautiful 85 rx7 and its in great condition. bought it for $2000 with 82,000 miles. anyhow..the fact that im still learning about my car is killin me, and the thing im worried about now is when its really wet outside (which happens a lot, living in washington state and all) and when i go to stop, i hear a loud clicking noise from my right back brake. Anyone else have that happen in the rain??

Welcome and best of luck with your new RX-7! If you stick around here for a while you'll learn a lot about your 7.

Does the car have rear disc or drum brakes? It's hard to tell what the clicking noise could be but if I were you I'd start by investigating the rear pads or shoes ASAP.

Good luck!

Yeah if it hasn't been done recently a really good time to service you brakes. I've replaced 3 calipers already

Welcome aboard! I hope you enjoy you're new car. If you're new to 7's beware of the know it all mechanics.I don't think most mechanic schools do much more than brush on rotors. I recently had one tell me I was going to " Burn a hole in my piston!"
