I think it would look better if the red bulbs had a red film around them so that it would reflect off the back like it does with the amber turn signal. I can't wait to see them lit up

the reflectors make them kind of dissipate the light from the bulb better i personally wouldn.t change them unless blacked out but to each their own. there is a guy in town that did that to his looks god awful up close too bright blinds you really bad

The origional reflectors are still in there, the round mirror like reflectors behind the bulbs.

Nice lights. I wanted to go clear, but went with my own design. Too bad people want so much for stock tail lights, or I would try different designs.

Bugman is talking about the red and amber diffuser lenses that you took out. IoTus made clear diffusers and put them in. I would smoke them to tame the brightness a bit. They look good though! Any pictures of the turn signal?

To tell you the truth they're actually a bit dim! They could definately stand to be brighter. I'll et a pic of the turn signal. From what I understand datsun1200, you get sme sort of tint spray and spray the inside of the lenses??? Firebirdslayer666 knows what to do, he can fill ya in!!!!

They don't look bad. I was referencing the brightness to what bugman said about the blinding brightness. It all depends on the bulbs. To tint or smoke the lights, I just use VHT Niteshades and spray the outside of the lenses. Mask the reflector if you want to keep it. Some people say to spray the inside of the lense but I find it pointless to do this if you don't already have the lights apart because they can be a bitch to get apart. I've definitely got plenty of ideas for tail lights, just need to find some extra sets to work on.

The tail lights match your center piece between the lights when you tint like yours. It's looks quite good!!

Not any good ones unfortunately. They just had a nice light tint to them so at certain times they would look blacked out and others they would look completly stock.

you wanted pictures of other peoples tail lights. Here are a couple of mine. If you searched taillights the threads would have shown up.

Wtf? Your lights look way different than mine. When I took mine apart, the outside clear plastic was straight, and no diffusers. the red/yellow/white tinted plastic on the inside had "domes" on it to disperse the light...

Those are clear lenses with a dome pattern. He took out the tinted ones and replaced them with clear.
