clear direct igniton for me, please

have list:
1 MSD 6a box.
6 ignitors
4 ignition coils (accel super stockers)
1 set of accel universal aprk plug wires (the ones you have to make the ends)
10AWG wire in blue, red and white
1 spare car to pull more parts from(as in connectors)

lots of time

I am not sure which is better the MSD or the dlidfis.

How many ignitors do I have to gut?

according to this.. https://www.rx7club.com/forum/attach...chmentid=72295

the "4" are the leading ignition ignitors.. do they both have to be guted?

or am I completely wrong.. and the guted one is just so that it fits on the distributer and from there using another connector to branch out to the 2 ignitors for the leading?

if I can get away with the dlidfis.. then I can sell the MSD box on ebay.

since you only have 1 MSD 6A, then you only need to gut 1 igniter box. This modded ignited box will replace the leading igniter @ dizzy. 2 modded igniters are required for dual MSD 6A/L OR for DLIDFS (whatever).

I have expereince with both MSD & dual igniters set-ups but I CANT TELL which is better.

damn, I got the ability to do both, maybe I should do it and find whats better for me. I don't really like to waste my time though, I got body work and painting to do. I also have to go and perform a week of externship for some electrical contractor. Whats taking the most of my time right now is trying to figure out which switch lead is best to connect to the coils and changeing a water pump. I had to move the compressor and air pump. I also had to remove the pully that moves the compressor. A real tedeous job.
