Cleaning out the SE engine bay?

I'm looking for suggestions on cleaning up the engine bay on my 85 SE.

I've already removed the broken air pump and am waiting for an ACV blockoff plate from RB. (Yes I still have my stock cats but those will be replaced by a Bonez system shortly.)

Is there anything else I need to do to remove the not-working-anyway cruise control other than unhook the linkage, unplug it, put a cap on the vacuum T and unbolt it? Any throttle linkage adjustment needed?

How about the AC? Anything wrong with removing it other than capturing the coolant? I'll leave the coil in place until I have to swap my engine out then I'll pull it while the rad is out.

Any tips on removing the sub zero start assist?

Any other suggestions? I'm trying to get everything as simple as possible without going to a carb so I can start tracking down my other problems and start upgrading some stuff.

i am currently replacing my blown 12a with another 12a, and in the process, removing all my emissions equipment in an effort to clean up the engine bay. i didn't even think about things like the cruise control, and the sub zero start assist...now that i think about it, with my simple carb setup, i can pretty much wrip out almost everything under the hood...im already missing the pwr. steering and air conditioning (didn't come w/ the car). i should have a pretty empty engine bay when im done.....thanks for the insight!!

Air Control Valve.
It directs air to the cat.
If you have no cat, you don't need the ACV or air pump...
