I see these engines on ebay latley and wounder if they are as good as they look or just a nice coat of paint. If any one has bought one and used it let us know. I am not needing one since I just had mine rebuilt a year ago from Rotary Performance.

It is a fully rebuilt and ported motor with new seals and parts.

It's not a used motor, so I am sure it looks just like the pic.

well the site says remanufatured which means is has been rebuilt. Of course you replace all the seals NEW SEALS, NEW BEARINGS, NEW 0-RINGS and NEW GASKETS
AND YOU CAN HAVE IT PORTED OR NON PORTED.

It looks like those alum housings are painted silver!? 1) How do they get the paint to stick to aluminum and 2) will it last?

you can use high temp engine paint from autozone or any reputable auto parts store (napa).

Those colors... they sure are..... "different" but it just shows the versatility of the paint and what the engine can look like.

cheers'

yes it's mine. i ported it myself. i didn't want to do just a basic silver and blue side plate motor, but couldn't decide on which color to do. so **** it, i did em all. if you don't like that's cool with me....lucky for you that you could tell me on the forum.....cuz you probably couldn't catch me to say it on the street (i haven't been able to finish cleaning up the engine bay due to school, work, temperature, and uh replacing the tranny.. so keep your "man, that looks like ****" comments to yourself)
