Arrow Classic Insurance

NJ people - What's the low-down on classic insurance? Is my 85 eligible? What about historic plates? TIA.

20 years for classic and 25 for historic. Historic is the good one where your exempt from inspection. Althought technically your only allowed to drive a limited number of miles a month.

Cool, only 3-8 more years until it qualifies for one of those.

I wanted to get the same thing on my 82. I have put about 12,000 into it and am wanting to get that. Cause the car is only worth about 3,000 at the most. You have to be at least 25 I know that. Dont know much more. Im 17 so I guess I cant get it unless I put it under my parents name and I dont want to do that. So I have to be carefull when driving.

Get it for a specific value, I got mine for $10,000 should it ever be damaged or stolen, that is what they have to pay me. Otherwise like said, they would give me $3k and to have a nice day, uh no, way to much loot in the 7

Now dont say that untill you know my situation. I have put most of it on my credit card. I wont let my parents pay for anything. Not even gas money. So if you want to know right now I am about 9,000 in debt. I have a credit card payment each month. Its like a car payment. Thats how I think of it.

Whats up setzep!!! You and Pele are the only people I remember from this forum. I have been of for a while. Been busy working, buying a house with a 4 car garage and a pit. In my earlier days I was known as jjbrozak. You remember me? You were going to come down to Omaha and look at a mazda. I have a new paint job on mine since last year and as soon as I figure out how to put pictures of it on here, you'll see them.

Hey, Jason, its Aaron. Good to finally see someone local on the board. I thought it might be you when I saw your screenname. BTW do you know if the water pump was ever replaced on the '85? I think that might be the cause of the coolant loss. It doesn't overheat but the smell is getting annoying.

Hey hows it going!? long time no see... Did you ever sell the 85 or the 79? I got a 83 last sept that I've been working on, someday I'll be able to drive it.
Same here, in the process of buying a house (close on june 3rd) so it's kinda hard to spend much $ on the FB for now

Can't wait to see the new paint scheme, Is it as crazy as the other one?

Even crazier. My grandpa took some pics with his digital camera. Send me an email at jjbrozak@hotmail.com. That way I have your email again. I did get rid of both cars. Used the 85 for parts and sold the 79 with a 6 port 13b, delorto carb, and racing beat header for $800. It all needed put together. I email you those pictures when I get them.

Hey Aaron, I'm not sure about the water pump. I thought it was comming from the back of the motor somewhere. If you do find out its the water pump, I'm sure I have one laying around somewhere.

I'll be on vacation next week so I'll have time to check it out completely. I also need to get rid of my truck so I can use my garage again. I'll let you know what I find out if I need any parts or not.
