The circular clips that go on the ball end of the headlight motor Q

Is this a Mazda only part or would I be able to find it at a parts store? I broke my replacement >: (

I was told the ball type bushings are sold seperately. You have to buy new rods. 30 a piece online, or 60 at the dealers, lol. Mine pooped out and I was owned by the dealership......I wish we could replace just the plastic, but I searched here and didn't find anything.

if you just need the clips to keep the ball end from falling out of the arm, use rubber hose washers and slip them over the ball. I did this as a temporary replacement. That was three years ago and they are still holding strong.

Is there still some rattling, or do they hold it pretty tight? I might have to go buy some and give it a whack.

I never noticed if they rattled or not.

Size of the rubber grommet is 1 1/8" outside diameter, 5/8" inside. 85 cents @ Aubachon Hardware. Mine have been working fine for about 2500 miles now with no rattles.
