Circle Taillights Installed. Thanks MarkPerez! *pics*

I embarked on my once thought to be completely original idea of circle taillights today. MarkPerez really came through for me and helped me out with some of his better made lenses, because one of mine wasnt spaced apart enough. nonetheless, i'm finished. let me know what you guys think.

before and after. (even though most of u know what before looks like)

You can always put a non-reflective material there. I'm thinking maybe I'll do that for when I'm bored of my clear tails. . . . sicne I DO still have the red lenses.

mark, i thought i sent the list in a PM. hmmm. let me double check.

the dumbbell effect is there, but the circles are spaced as far away as possible. u cant see them in those pics. the reflector is a pain, but its something we all must live with. u cant even really see the mod during the day. it comes alive at night. thanks for all the geat feedback

Unless you remove the reflector, you still get the dumbell effect. Its technically illegal to remove the reflector too, so your pretty much screwed on that, unless you just move it to a different spot. But I can't think of anywhere right now.

yeah the reflector is a pain. i was trying to get mine out, but no luck. if you moved it, there would be no place else to relocate it, so that's a bust. um yeah, i am happy with them. i got 1 question though. what type of adhesive do i use to seal the plastic pieces to the assembly? mine isnt sturdy enough.

yea, you can either buy a miata headlight kit and modify it to fit the fb, or buy the cp racing headlight kit.. which is flush and doesn't pop at all. the circle tails are just cutouts. headlights are a whole different ballgame.

If you used the 'search' feature it may just answer you question.. you know i've seen the cpracing headlights kit and i've seen the four light setup along with the 'sleepy-eyed' look. i've even seen a square headlight vs a round headlight(1st gen) and i understand and accept it that, while trying to do something, anything
these cars just won't give it up. i've yet to see a really cool looking, functional headlight setup/kit. it's the shape of the nose, so it's the round headlights that win. IMO.

see like those headlights with the two circles instead of one...couldnt you use the same method of painting the tailights and put it towards the headlights???

Sure... If you don't like seeing at night.

Go out and buy a headlight for like $10 and paint it... See how effective it is...

Reason being that the headlight creates a spread beam of light to illuminate a whole area. Tail lights are only supposed to light up the back of your car.
