i have an 84 rex i just bought last month and last night this really annoying chime/buzzer started going off and it wont stop (when car is running). it did this before when i first got it and that same day my alternateer went out. i replaced the alt but i am not sure if that chime is related to the alternator. it is not the door open chime or the light chime because those are differant and not as loud. should i try to disconnect it or and how do i do that?
