Check your map pockets!

While I had my driver side door panel off to repair some torn vinyl I noticed a rattle. I tapped it upside down against the garage floor and out falls $1.30 worth of period correct coins! They were hidden in the tiny air pockets under where the map pocket screws to the card. Thought Id share that I actually got paid to work on my RX7 today!

another excellent spot to find hidden things is in the hatch area below the antenna in well at the rear most corner of each quarter panel. i've found pens, cassette tapes, action figures, money, markers, hardware, etc down there over the years.

I've found two 10mm sockets, a pair of pliers, and various change and starburst candies (someone really liked Starburst). Forget the monetary gain, think of the WEIGHT SAVINGS!

I found $3.72 in change when I pulled my interior for cleaning. Also an anodized aluminum walking stick, TWO jacks (one standard and one aluminum), and two 1-cent stamps.

I found like 6 bucks in change when I took the driver's seat out.
It was stuck so assumed that the change was stopping it from sliding.
NOPE!
Turned out to be a goddamn Golf tee in the slider!

A golf tee? To put your ***** on while driving? Those Mazda engineers really thought of everything!

I think my driver seat skips a click on the slider. I might have to look for a golf tee down there.

I bought a pinball machine at an amusement auction with 2 golden tee and a few video games. I noticed the pinball was EXTREMLY heavy in the front. Didn't think much about it. Got it home drilled the lock. $127.50 in quarters in the coin box con jelled together by what was probably the remains of a 12 pack of coke.

The golden tee had almost $100 in the dollar bill accepter.

Reminds me of when I was a kid. I used to check a the coin slots of the gum ball and Coke machines at the stores... I'd flip out when I found change. I think my grandfather used to plant coins in them and make me think they were already there.

In a junkyard car I found a lighter, almost a $1 in change, a packet of hot oatmeal, among other random items.

Crazy what you find in old cars, looking forward to seeing some more results

Going to a junkyard and pulling the backseat could become a lucrative business.

Found a little baggy with two E's in it under the carpet under the seat a while back when I was fixing the sloppy seat rails. It was St Patricks day. They were dynamite. It was a good night.
