so does part of the kit reinforces the shock mounts? I though the stock mounts aren't strong enough to support the weight of the vehicle... Looks great though.

LOL, maybe you guys should look at the pics more carefully. The black ribbed parts on the rear shocks are dust protectors, not springs.

Click on the Shocks and Struts picture.

What he is doing is replacing the strut tube on the stock spindle with a 2" diameter tube that will accept a 2" Koni insert. We did the same thing on my ITA car at our race shop. All you need is a lathe and a Tig welder....aw just buy the parts from Jim.

His setup manual is a must have for Solo and Roadracing. My car is based on his recomendations and it drives really cool!

I should also add that KC Raceware can fabricate big tub spindles for Koni Struts as well. Charlie Clark sold me the parts to build my own, including the single adjustable race Koni's at a great price.
