cheap upgrades while engine is out?

While the engine is out this might be a good time to consider new engine or tranny mounts or an electric fan (also available in junkyards, though the cowl will most likely need customization)

Yeah, take the nuts off the bottom, and theres one bolt on the top that screws into the block as I recall. Its a bolt for a stablizing bar or some crap. I missed it at first as well.

i cant get a wrench in there to try to unbolt the banjo fitting, should i just wait till i get the engine out?

i can get the first bolt off, the one closest to the fan, but the second one , closest to the fire wall, i'm having some difficulty. i tried from the engine compartment, from under the car, not enough clearence to use a socket wrench. What should i do

it's a bit tricky, but i usually get it off by laying underneath the car ... if you're having that much trouble though, i'd say wait until the engine is out so you don't round off any off the nuts.
