Charging problems with dash light malfunction...

I just recently realized my car isn't charging anymore. You know when you turn on the ignition, all the dash warning lights come one, then when you start the car they all go off.... Well I'd start my car and all the warning lights would stay on like the car wasn't running, and the alternator wouldn't charge the car. I am currently running an MSD with an ignition switch and starter button, so if my stock ignition switch is bad I would still be able to start the car like I've been doing.

Just as I am starting to think my alternator is faulty, I park the car today and just noticed all the dash warning lights are back to normal. They don't all turn on, but I don't have my regulator plugged in, so I'm not sure if the alternator is charging yet or not.

My question is has anyone had this problem where all the warning lights would stay on and what caused it? I'm thinking I have some faulty wiring and the car just doesn't realize it's on but I'm not sure. Any help would be aprichiated.
