Charcoil Caniter to return line?

Hey guys,

I was woundering since right now i don't have a fuel pressure regulator to use the return line, would I be able to hook up the line coming off the engine to the original return line of the carburator so that I don't smell the gas?

Cap the return line. There is a 3rd line from the tank for the canister.

See i'm not sure what exactly happend to that line. See that was basically the very first thing that I did to that car, and it wasn't me that did it, it was a mechanic, that was the time that I was furstrated about all the fuel lines and stuff so i just took it in, its all somehow connected but i don't have the 3rd line that goes to the engine bay for hte charcoal canister.

your gonna want to follow those lines from the tank.... having one of them disconnected somewhere under the car spells trouble down the road.

Under the car, there should be 4 steel lines, 2 large, 2 small. One small is the brake line, the other is the tank vent. All 4 are redone and on the new body.
