Changed spark plugs, and battery died?

Alright, well i changed my plugs, 1 at a time, so im pretty darn sure the wires are in the right place. It started up fine, then when i drove it, it drove fine for about 5 blocks. I came to a red light, car sat, idled fine, then when the light turned green, i went to go, and the car bogged, sounded like it was about to stall, picked up power, went, then stalled.

So I push it into the parking lot i was near, went to try and start it up, and it sounded like the battery was dead. So I get a boost, Car drove fine for another 5 blocks, then the same situation came about. Red light, Went to go, Car stalled. So I decided to have it towed home, and now im sitting here in utter confusion.

Any idea's on how to fix the -SE? Battey or somthing deeper?

alternator supplies ~14 volts while running, battery isn't even needed to run.

you didn't know you're supposed to add battery fluid when changing spark plugs?

yea, get the alternator tested (should be free at any auto parts store) and if it's good then your battery just had it's day. like drifter said, a charging problem for sure.

Yeah, unless you bumped something that caused the alternator to short out. This is probably just a case of spoiling your car too much (give her new plugs, and all the sudden she's demanding a new alternator too). Damn, I hope my car doesn't read this or I'll be walking home! P.S. You can have the alternator tested for free at most autoparts places.
