Cat questions

i did some searching about emissions and figured out i need the airpump to keep the cat alive problem is i have no rats nest no cat and no airpump
think if i stick the cat on there and run it up just to go to emissions it will live?
and pass? is there anytricks for rotories?

running a cat without an air pump is not a problem. However I'm not if it would pass smog in your state.

i think someone did that and got it too pass, just make sure that once the cat is on there, get it emmision tested fairly quickly, cause the cat will clog pretty quickly without the airpump

The cat will live just as long if not longer without an airpump, actually. I wish people would stop saying that the airpump somehow keeps the cat alive.

But without it, your HC and CO levels can't be controlled and unless you're running lean in the first place, or they're not very strict on the e-test, it won't pass.
