Damn you!

Actually, I reckon that for our applications it doesn't matter very much whether you run the one or the other. As I understand it, both pumps are capable of flowing way more fuel than what we require (meaning the RX-7's, not the FBird)

And to the itty-bitty Facet's credit, It was able to keep up with the RP 12A streetport all the way to 113 rwhp @ 7600 rpm on dyno day, way back when. Of course that was with a stock Nikki carb...

I've got three Facets and the one I'm replacing can't keep up with my carb anymore. The next one pumps strong while the last one seems a bit slugish (won't know how well it keeps up with the carb untill I get the car on the road). What a shame, indeed. I could have gone with a Holley, but they're noisy!

If it's quieter than my friend's Holleys, I won't mind at all. Or would Mallory be a better choice? I haven't gotten any pumps yet so I'm open to suggestions.

I've used both Carter and Holley and the Carter is definately quieter. It also has a better mounting system and just seems like it's made better in general.

And contrary to what others are saying I find the noise really isn't an issue. It's loud with the ignition on and you can hear it fluctuating with the indicators when sitting at the lights (thanks to the 1st gen's shitty wiring design) but other than that I don't even notice it.

Long primaries, single custom muffler, no resonators=moderately loud...

It gets on my nerves in town. And imagine, I used to think the Walboro in my TII was loud. Heh.
