Cartech carb turbo system help

I have a 1st gen engine with a Cartech turbo system inside a 1984 toyota corolla. On top is a Holly 650. I wish to run 5 to 8 lbs of boost. I need help on the tuning aspect of this system seeing as this is my first carb turbo system that i have ever really worked with. Jet size and what not. Also the T3 turbo that came with the engine is fucked up. It currently pukes oil out the down pipe and is creating a very good smoke screen. the car wont idle ether. Any advice or help is welcomed. Thanks

Yup, been there man... PLZ post some pics...

First off.. the 650 carb is WAY to big for your system. If your running a holley you WILL need to upgrade your fuel system to a pump with about 6-7 psi delivery pressure .. (the stock is about 4.5 psi)

If your turbo is shot it will be cheaper just to replace it being as that is a very common turbo size.

I'm assuming this is a DRAWTHROUGH turbo setup similar to mine?

Special jetting for the carb MAY NOT be needed.

INSTALL A WIDEBAND O2 SENSOR BEFORE YOU RUN ANY MORE BOOST.... you wanna be able to track your AFR.

Your goal of 5-8 psi boost is VERY do-able, keep in mind your already running 9.4:1 compression and big boost numbers will NOT be feasable without intercooling AND meth injection. According to Cartech's installation manual, running 7 psi of boost on a STOCK 12a will yield an 80 % increase in BRAP BRAP horsepower.
