Cargo mod & other cool pics

Some time ago I mentioned my cargo net mod, and that I'd try to post clear pics of it. The cargo net tiedowns @ the top are just screwed in to stock screw locations for the rear triangle trim, and the base of the net (folded double) is held by the metal bar running across the parcel shelf carpet just above the storage bins, so it can be removed with no apparent change over stock.

...and the new exhaust, tips still shiny

It was actually a mod out of neccessity - before I installed the net, every time I bought weekly groceries they'd end up in the passenger seat footwell by the time I got home.

Nice clean car!
Did you screw into the sides, (at the top) or just use existing trim screws?
Where did you get the net? I think it's one of few totally functional, but visually cool things.

I often worry about being bashed in the noggin by unsecured **** in the back in the awful event of a crash. My Grandfather survived a bag of sand that hit him like that!

I used the screws that came with the net, but screwed them into the holes that are for regular trim screws so there are no additional holes in the trim.

The net is a generic aftermarket one - it's folded double because it's normally supposed to go into a wagon or SUV.

EDIT: there were fragments of mudflaps on the car when I got her, and they were acting as sticking points for road salt, etc. I removed them when I put the new rims/tires on, with the added benefit of a much more aggressive look.

Manntis I know exactly which one your talking about. I put a the smaller sized on in my fiancee's car.

Looks clean and simple. Good job.

I didn't realize there were more people doing this mod. I thought it was a given. ~shrugs~

It's Sparkling Black Metallic with Clearcoat , paint code H1, with burgundy factory pinstripes that match the interior running along the beltline of the car.

In some photos it looks like the Grey/Black Charcoal on some Rexes, but mainly because I bump up the brilliance of the photo to show more detail in the shadows.
