well went out to the rx7 and sprayed starter fluid

the car wanted to start so i pressed the accelerator

car turned on and quickly rose to about 6k rpms
then just gave out

what could it be? float bowls are good

could the jets be dirty or what?

i might get the carb done by a family friend this weekend

he will charge me 30 dollars

 

So you can see fuel in the bowl windows? Will it squirt fuel out the accel pump nozzels when you pump the throttle? Could be clogged jets, possibly.
