Carberator For Sale

The guy that sold me the "7" has an extra carb for a 1979-1985 rx7, and he said that i could sell it for him if i wanted too.. and he would pay me half of the cash that it sells for.

the stock four barrel carb. works like its brand new.
he also had it rebuilt when he recived it.

he got it off an auction that was on ebay and hes only asking 150 obo for it. so just PM me if interested in this carb.

EDIT: i also have the receipt of the rebuild of the carb if you need the proof of the rebuild.

Honestly, a stock Nikki isn't worth anything. They're never as far away as the next junkyard.

Send them to Sterling or Carl so they have extras to use if necessary (to replace damaged parts on customers' carbs etc).

I pay $50 a carb...shipped, and that's only when I'm running low.
It costs at least 15 bucks to ship it, so you're looking at 35 bucks a carb.

For a rebuilt with proof (rebuild reciept) your best bet is on Ebay. That's where you're more likely to find someone who won't rather rebuild their own carb themselves. Most everyone here will do their own rebuild for the cost of a 12 pack (to keep cool and ease frustrations), a Saturday, and a $35.00 rebuild kit (which you may be lucky enough to find for 10 bucks less.)

...And with an average of something like 47 thousand of these carbs coming into the US per year for 5 years, well finding one isn't too hard.

Just keep it. It's worthless now, but will be like a little piece o' gold if you have carburetor trouble in the future.

Hey, if nothing else, rebuild what you've got and keep it until yours has trouble. A carb fix isn't ever any easier than having a fresh one waiting to go.
