Ok, so I recently ran across an '85 for $400. There's a "middle man" who doesn't know jack about the car. I've tried 3x to find out the model, to no avail. Keep being told it's an 85, power everything, glass sunroof, louvers, but said it was a 12b with carb, not fuel injection. I thought 12b's had F.I.? WTF?

 

It's a 12a, not a 12b, and it's a GSL model.

Or maybe it's a 13b GSL-SE with an aftermarket carb like a weber or holly

 

Sounds like a decked out GSL.

 

A few old school 13B carby engines have been used as a later transplant, while some s6 efi have been converted to carby using a cheap imported engine as its cheaper than a 12A rebuild.

The chances of these are low so agreed its more than likely a 12A powered GSL with a few add-ons being sold by a person with no knowledge of rotaries..
