No horns, straight plenum. make sure that the intake air comes from a off angle not straight down the manifold. The intake air need some stirring before hitting the fuel manifold. check out www.tweakit.net they have a plenum you can buy or make your self.

Yeah, shutup kid.
Doesn't matter if the horns are there or not. Also, it's fine if the plenum is straight in on a sidedraft, as long as it is perfectly centered between the 2 barrels of the carb.

I'd say there would be no point to leaving the horns on there, since the plenum is pressurized and the horns are there to smooth ambient airflow into the carb. On the other hand, it couldn't hurt to try it out. Try it with and without... see which way works better. That's half the fun with these cars... trying out new stuff.
BTW- I have never seen a blow-through carb setup with the horns still on if that tells you anything. The expert to talk to would be Robert at Rotary Shack aka 680rwhp12a on the forum.
