Question carb spacer questions

hello, i would like to know if anyone on here is using a carb spacer,how you guys feel about using them, and do you notice a difference with it on? thanks

I used a spacer once back in my holley days, I didnt notice much on performane, but then again I only used it for about 2 days then sold the carb.

On the stock carbs, no, not needed. On the Holleys, it has been said to increase lowend torque due to extending the intake runner length and helps isolate the carb from heat.

ok, thanks, i was thinking of a swirl tork spacer from summit racing.

if you are using a RB holley.. they are ment to not have any open space that is why the top of the intake manifold is flat... its so the vac 2nd work right

your best bet is to call RB (i know it sucks) and ask/tell them what you are thinking about doing

yeah, i was thinking of using the kind that has 4 holes, not the kind that is just open.
