The throttle cable and linkage does not seem to open the secondaries. I can open them by pressing the vacuum linkage on the other side of the carb. Somewhere I read a thread on how to adjust the secondaries. Anyone remember?

 

If your secondarys are still Vacuum Secondaries then the will not open if you just playing with it on the bench. Serch for mechanical Secondaries and you should find what your looking for

 

Yeah, what he said. Are you having a specific issue with your car? You are probably looking in the wrong place for the solution if so...
