Carl has tested variations on modded airhorns, and much to our suprise, there's not much to be gained by modding it.
In fact, the earlier 79-80 carbs have a larger choke flap hole. In flow tests done by Carl, he found them not to flow much better than the later horns with the smaller primary side opening.
