carb manual online

I scanned in a mazda carburetor manual that has a alot of good info for anyone interested in 1st gen rx-7s carbs. I have just gotten around to figuring out how to put it on a web page so here it is for anyone interested --> www.rotaryrefs.net - it's under the 'factory service manuals' link and is treally the only thing on the site for now.

regards

Thanks much! I just ordered a carb rebuild kit for my '81 GS, TODAY. I'll bet this will come in handy! I downloaded it. Thanks again!

Damn man... I *wish* I had one of these many moons ago. This information is amazing. So detailed.... It's to the point now where if you could build "level 3" model airplanes, you can rebuild a carburetor. At least... you can overhaul a stock carburetor... I am still damn glad I got mine done by Rx7Carl and Sterling, but at least now I won't be so afraid to take it apart... I can learn whatthefuck everything is, including all that emissions crap that I'm removing.

Thankfully, this will help me get the courage to break mine open to start swapping jets next year.

thanks all - put some more stuff up on the site, including 'Rotary Engine' by Kenichi Yamamoto - it's got some interesting and technical details about rotary engines and their design by the man who led(pretty sure it was him) the development of the rotary engine at mazda.

-no problem ::grin::

I don't have an '83 shop manual,digital or hardcopy, but I've just about got a 1985 shop manual ready to go as a .pdf...I just got to finish bookmarking it. I also have various other shop manuals already as .pdf's that I've found around the internet that I'll be putting up sooner or later, when I get around to consolidating them to a single .pdf and then bookmarking. Then I'll get back to scanning some of my own stuff in, and that takes awhile...and fairly high on the list is the 'How to modify your RX-7' book and a mazda factory traing book on the renesis engine.
