I'm just starting to get my "new" 1st gen on the road. The PO said he couldn't get it to start, but had spark and fuel. He also handed me a new carb gasket when he gave me the paper work. Apparently when he put on another carb he didn't put on a carb gasket. I'm thinking this would cause a vacuum leak and lean out the mixture. It wouldn't start for me yesterday, but the battery had a low charge -so I'm charging it now...
Any thoughts on this?
