Carb to FI

hey guys, i'm going to fuel injection, now i know the carbs only have about 4-7psi and the FI is going to need around 60psi roughly. i'm about to buy a T2 intank fuel pump. what is the best way to mount this thing. or is there another way. cani take off the out of tank FP and throw this one on. because i'm buying just the pump, not the whole assembly. how much would the assembly run? argh. any input is really appreciated.

the FB tank is inline, just use a GSL-SE pump. using the TII pump would be a pain.

Depends on what kind of fab work you can handle.Intank is very desirable because its quiet, protected and factory clean. The TII pump and holder is the exact height of the later FB tanks,so its a perfect fit with no mods to the pump.
But it requires a bit of work to the tank to do right.I choose that route because I like clean and I can handle fab work.In the end, it didnt turn out to be a lot of work, just some careful planning.Im now running a SupraTT pump inplace of the TII pump. Its silent, but deadly!:-)

If you decide to go external, the SE pump is a good choice since itll bolt right up and is quiet. But youll need an SE tank too, since the 12A tanks dont have slosh baffles around the pickup.During a lefthand turn youll lose all power when the fuel level is below 1/3.....ask me how I know.

or just tap the plug on the bottom of the tank and run an -AN fitting from it to your fuel pump. works beautifully and is ALOT less hassle
