carb experts could help

Ok i was having a proble with my floats being stuck and flooding my carb when ever it was driven and after it gets turned off, now i took off the air horn, and unstuck them, and no more flooding, and the sight glass looks just fine, but now the damn thing won't start, or if it does, the choke has to be on, or else it just dies, it starts very easy when i just pour a bit of gas down the carbs, i don't know what the problem is there is deffinatly a lack of fuel, my pump is fine, and i just changes the filter. whats going on guys?

Vacuum leak. Pouring gas down the carb compensates for the super lean mixture your getting from the vacuum leak. Once the extra fuel is gone, ,,,,,,, no idle. Itll stay running if you keep the throttle open cause your getting alot more gas that way.

OR if the gas was stale enough or dirty enough to cause the floats to stick, your main jets could be plugged up.

Are you going to tell us what it was, or should we keep guessing?

It was magical/mystical daemons lurking in the depths of the carburetor.. He flushed them out with some ATF/MMO and managed to smoke out the ones lurking in his exhaust at the same time!

well it turns out that some of the floats were a bit off, and there was some dirt and crap in some of the jets and bleeds, so a bunch of carb cleaner and some compressed air took care of that garbage, and damn now i can really feal the secondaries kick in, made a world of difference, it feels like a brand new car. I feel that i can finally take some of those riced out civics, now if i can just get my header, i'll be set.
